Lecturer: Do you have the answer scheme?
Me (nervous) : No, I haven't got... oh.. didn't get it yet.

So, which one is correct?

Answer:

Both are wrong. It depends on the question. We need to answer accordingly.

Lecturer: Do you have the answer scheme?
Me: No, I don't have it yet.

Other example:

Lecturer: Have u got the scheme?
Me: I have/haven't got it yet
or
Me: Yes/not yet.

Lecturer: Did u get the scheme?
Me: I did/did not
or
Me: Yes/nope/Didn't.

Exercise #2:

Yesterday, when I was on my way back to the hostel, I saw someone kinda familiar, walking in front of me.

Correction:

Yesterday, when I was on my way back to the hostel, I saw someone familiar, walking in front of me.

Next time, I will not calling out loud for anyone that walking in front of me unless I am 100% confident that it is my real friend!

Correction:

Next time, I will not be calling out loud to anyone walking in front of me unless i am 100% confident that it is really my friend.
