Aku di GEMS

Ramai yg dah tau, aku join GEMS skrg nih, utk mengisi masa2 menganggur aku ngan aktiviti yg lebih berpekdah. GEMS stands for Graduate Employability Management Scheme. Ni job training yg govt support la, under Ministry of Finance.

Aku regis dua minggu lepas (21/6/09), kat Kompleks Darul Puteri, Cheras. Minggu pertama, mcm biasa la, perasmian, then kna hafal lagu bagai sumer.

Lagu GEMS nih ntah aper2 ntah. Saper la yg compose lg nih. lyric dah ok, tp rentak mcm hampeh. Mesti pitching lari punya la kalo nyanyi lagu nih. Nyanyi lagu matric UIA or lagu maincamp lagi best. Semangat giler.


Sepanjang minggu pertama nih, kena dgr talk on 'Achieving Personal Excellence'.

Agak bosan gak ar sbb kena dgr ceramah selama 3 hari, dgn speaker yg sama. Aku kalo dah bosan2 nih, mcm2 la aku wat. Main2 henset la, melukis la.. Tgk ar lukisan darjah satu aku yg hebat kat bawah nih. Hahahaha!

Selain daripada dgr talk, ada gak aktiviti2 len mcm senamrobik yg best giler. Mmg happening. Nak wat lagi! Hahaha! "Okeh, from Top! 1, 2...", kata instructor senamrobik tuh. Mmg enjoy giler ar.

Malam Jumaat ada baca yassin. Ni jer la program berunsur spiritual yg ada kat GEMS nih. Satu kelemahan la. Patut tambah lg program2 berunsur ibadah nih. Aper2 pon, aku bersyukur sgt sbb rumate aku sumer sng nak solat. X payah nak paksa2. Paham2 sendiri kalo x semayang aper hukumnyer. Kitorg siap sbyg jemaah lg tuh dalam bilik. Nanti aku upload gambar. Lupa bawak balik wayar henset la.

Ni la keadaan bilek kitorg. Mcm asrama kan? tp single bed la. Ok jer bagi aku.. Cuma katil dia guna tilam yg ringan + murah + sakit2 badan tuh. Hampeh sungguh. Bilek lain ada yg dapat tilem empuk. Ape2, bersyukur jer la.

Dah ar. Malas nak taip dah. Jap2, Jumaat lepas gi sbyg kat Jalan Cockraine. Nampah kawasan kubur yg sgt luas. Insaf2~

Exausted and In Dilemma...

I'm back! I will be at home for this weekend since there will be no GEMS activities at Darul Puteri. I went out from there, together with Amir at 5.20pm. Waited for bus for about 15 minutes and then catched a train to Plaza Rakyat. After Amir bought his balik-kampung tiket to Batu Pahat, we went to Mydin Pudu to buy some items. Actually, I wanted to buy so many things like another long sleeve shirt, a three-quatre pants, some shirts... But then, I ended up bought only a tie and two packest of sweets. Hahahaha! X jadi beli yg lain. Budget lari.

Then, Amir went back to hentian Pudu to wait for his 7.00pm-bus. I walked to other way, to the bustop where Metrobus no.26 is available. At that time, it was almost 7.00pm, I think. Then, I arrived at home one hour later. Hampeh sungguh~ A lot of traffic jams during that time plus, the driver mmg jalan makan angin jer bawak bas. So slow. Ok, done about the exhausted part.

Entering the dilemma part. Hmmm, I just got an email from BiotechCorp today, saying that I was selected to join the BeST programme (about time~). Some of my friends that also got selected include Adelina, Adibah, Zarul, Fathi, Wani and Amir. But the thing is, I already joining the GEMS programme. Both has their own advantages and disadvantages. GEMS consist of 2 and a half month of classroom session followed by 6 months apprenticeship. During the classroom session, GEMS provide accomodation and food to its participants. BeST consist of 3 months classroom session and 3 months attachment program. However, although they will pay us RM1000, no accomodation and food will be provided. We hv to go to various training venues in that 3 months.

Whatever it is, to me, the main problem is not about the food and accomodation. I'm lucky since I live in KL and the area that I live at has a lot of access to the public transport. The problem is, argghhh, tak tau yg mana nak decide. Dah la. No idea already.

In conclusion, Solat Istiharah jer la. Ask for guidance from Allah.

Sarong?

Addicted to 'Farm Town'

Alamak, blog aku terabai. Gara2 main game Farm Town la nih. Thanks to Adelina ngan Madam Dilla sbb berjaya menghasut saya utk main game yg addicting nih.

Kat bawah nih kebun aku. Penat dowh berkebun. Skrg dah level 15. Dah boleh tanah besar. Hahaha! Tanam anggur byk2.

Ni pulak kebun Madam Dilla. Aku skrg tgh berusaha gigih nak beli tanah besar, then buat kebun macam madam. Hahaha!


Main la game nih. Boleh chat la, jumpa kawan, bagi2 hadiah. Hahaha!

Something About Dog

Generally, I hate dog. But there are also some exceptions. I love to see (not to touch) a clean dog, walking at the street with its owner. The small one of course. Not the big, black dog. That one, aku memang akan geli sampai bila2 (how to write this sentence in English?). Hahaha!

I also like to watch trained dog in action. For example, below are some captured images about a well-trained dog, taking care of its owner. Tengok la.

Amazing right! The dog looks very clean also.

Wah2, aku baru balik dari blog Dibut.

Dari blog dia tuh ada sorg budak kecik nama Aqilah, sepupu Dibut kot. Pastu aku bloghopping ke blog2 kawan2 si Aqilah tuh. Tercabar weh! Budak2 kecik bawah umor ni sumer dah terer memblog dah. Hahaha! Jgn marah dek. Gurau2 jer. Tapi respect ar. Aku dulu time sekolah menengah, internet pon x reti.

Ada satu blog nih, nama Balqis, dia punya post, leh dapat sampai 100 comments tuh? Giler ar.

Wah2! Hebat2! Pastu terjumpa satu blog nih (click sini), yg sama template ngan Husna. Hahahahaha! Korg leh bloghopping dari blog Aqilah or Balqis tuh kalo nak tgk lebih byk lg blog budak2 nih.

Pasnih aku kena lebih advance daripada budak2 nih. Kena blaja wat coding+template sendiri mcm Fairuz, Kak Nana ngan Azuwa supaya tak terasa tercabar. Hahahaha!

P/s - Tp adik2 sekalian, gliter2 is soooo last season. Xyah letak la kat blog. Plus, sumer mp3 playe ker aper, buang jer la. Tersangkut-sangkut. Hehehehe!

Dibebel~

Ades... aku baru pas kena attack ngan pakcik aku. Dia baru tau yg aku ni bdak jpa. Pastu dia suruh aku lapor diri cepat2.

Penat gak ar mendengar. Dekat sejam. Dia kata bab saman la, bab keje ngan gov bagus la. Ada betolnyer. Aku pon xleh nak tunggu JPA panggil aku jer. Kene la ada inisiatif gi jumpa dorg, bg tau aku nih dah abes. Aku mmg dah dowwnload form dia, tp pakcik aku suruh jumpa kat Putrajaya terus. Ada bran? Hahaha!

Tp aku terpikir gak, kalo aku asik dapat interview ngan private coompany, pastu kna tny soklan maut, "Are you a JPA scholar student?", hmm, mampus keras nak jawab. Pastu, kalo jawab, "Yes", dorg wat muka taknak ambik kejer, bek tak yah. Aku baru bercadang nak tipu, tp pakcik aku dok cakap pasal saman sampai Rm 400 000, terus tak berani.

K ar, aku rasa nak ke JPA Putrajaya minggu nih. Hari Rabu or Khamis. Saper nak ikut? Jom2!

My First Biotech-Related Job Interview.

Hahaha! It is already past two weeks since the job interview, but don't care, I still want to write about it.

Before I write about the interview, I want to tell you guys about my preparation for it. It was a bit kelam kabut. On the day before the interview, I just noticed that I don't have any plain and soft color long sleeved shirt. I searched my brother's wardrobe to see whether he has any but, nada! Hmmm, at the end of the dy, luckily I found this one shirt, white color with thin stripes. Boleh la. Asalkan soft color shirt.

Then, I have to msg Fiza (the I-know-all-about-fashion guy), to ask his opinion about what color of tie that I should match with the white+stripes shirt. He texted me back saying that I should wear the one with plain dark color. Alamak, mana ada yg plain dark punya. Then, I searched the house and I found this tie with red and small boxes pattern (curik adik aku punya). Hmm, then I tried to compare it with my other ties.

Boleh la. X plain pon xper la. X nampak pon that small boxes. No time to think about that. I still have to do some research about the company ( + facebooking a bit).

On the day of the interview, I printed out all the possible interview questions and also some info about the company. Then, suit up! Ready to go to the interview, which located at Phileo Damansara, PJ. Look at the pics below. Hensemkan aku? Hahahaha!

To go to Phileo Damansara, I had to take a bus, then LRT to Asia Jaya and a transit bus to the bustop nearest to the interview place. Then, my sister fetched me to the building.It is actually located nearby to Matric UIA PJ (xder la dekat sgt pon..).

Upon arriving, I did some last minute preparation for the interview. I checked my CV and then, try to memorize about the company details. Mcm nak exam daa...

FYI, Izzah had already went for the interview. While waiting for my sister to fetched me before, I actually called her to ask for some tips. She told me that the interviewer will ask about this and that and that bla.. bla..bla... Thanks Izzah!

Hmm, about the interview session, I think it went okay. Not too bad and not too good I think.

I managed to answer most of the questions, with some details of course. However, at some point, I think I did some major mistakes. The interviewer asked me to tell him about myself. I was supposed to introduce and try to promote myself to him. Commonly, for this type of question, it should be about five minutes or more but what I did was less than two minutes. Screeww me!

Another mistakes was that I told him about my weaknesses more than about my strength! Giler aper. At that time, I just want to be honest, tapi terlebih2 pulak. Adoi la~ I even told him that I am a kelam kabut punya person. Mana ada company yg nak ambik org yg kelam kabut. Bengong sungguh aku. Hahaha!

Last but not least, the interviewer asked me whether I am a JPA-scholar student or not. I told him that I am. Then he asked about the agreement la, ape la, kena kejer ngan government la.. I told him that for local sponsorship, it is not necessarily for us to work with the government but I dont't think I convinced him at that time. Hmm, hancur berkecai la nak kejer kat company tuh. Muka pasrah.

Now is already two weeks after the interview. I never recieved any call for the second interview. Dah paham la tuh. Hmm, xper la. Xder rezeki.

Nevermind, I still got another shot next week. I will be having an interview at this one popular biotech-related company. Wish me luck yer!

Mari Balik Kampung!

Seperti yg ramai tau, aku balik kg last week. Meh aku wat karangan bergambar lagi pasal balik kg minggu lepas.

DAY 1 (Ahad) - KL -- Kerteh, Terengganu (+- 300km)

Singgah kat umah makcik aku ngan pakcik aku, kakak dan abang kepada mak aku katFelda Kerteh. Nak ambik nenek aku, bawa balik ke rumah dia kat Setiu, Terengganu. Kat bawah ni scene kat rumah pakcik aku. Byk pokok2 sayur dia semai.

DAY 2 (Isnin) - Kerteh -- Setiu, Terengganu (+- 200km)

Kampung aku sbnrnyer kat Setiu. Tp sejak akhir2 nih, nenek aku suka dok kat Keteh sbb anak2 makcik aku ramai. Dia suka org ramai2. Leh tolong wat macam2. Kat bawah ni gambar lorg depan umah tok aku. Kat sini la aku ngan adik-beradik ngan sepupu aku main2 tim kecik2 dulu. Skrg dah tinggal kenangan. Sumer dah besar2.

DAY 3 (Selasa) - Setiu -- Dabong, Kelantan (+-250km)

Kitorg ke Dabong sbb anak makcik aku lagi satu kawen. Sepupu aku la. Tp x berapa rapat ngan sepupu nih, sbb rumah dorg jauh ke ulu weh. Jauh kan Dabong, Nasir? HAhaha! Mak aku kata, ni reason utama dia balik kampung. Kitorg 3 kereta konvoi ke umah mak cik aku. Gambar pengantin x sempat nak tangkap. Hahaha!

DAY 4 (Rabu) - Setiu -- Kerteh (+- 200km)

Gi antar pakcik ngan makcik aku balik umah dorg. Sebenarnyer mak aku kata kalo antar dorg ke bustop Kuala Terengganu pon x pe, tp aku yg gatal nak antar samapi umah. Sian kat makcik aku yg lagi sorg yg terpaksa ikut aku antar dorg. Ala, jalan weh.

Kt umah pakcik aku yg sorg nih ada wat ternakan cacing. Dia pon rajen semai2 pokok sayur. Plus, ada by pokok buah gak blakang umah dia. Durian, pisang, rambutan etc.

Ni gmbar sepupu aku, anak kepada makcik aku yg ikut sekali tuh. Gambar mak dia x sempat nak tangkap.

Pembakaran terbuka, salah satu sbb Global Warming. Ish2, org kampung nih.

Reban ayam ngan telur2nyer.

DAY 5 (Khamis) Setiu -- Kota baru, Kelantan (+-100km)

Nak pergi pejabat tanah sebenarnyer. FYI, arwah ayah aku ada tanah kat KB. Nak setelkan cukai ker aper ntah. Yg tak bestnyer kat KB nih, jam dan panas! Hush! mencabar keimanan aku.

Kat Pejabat Tanah. Cuba korg baca notis 'Takrif Anak Kelantan' kat pic bawah nih.

DAY 6 (Jumaat) - Tak pegi mana2.

Rehat2 kat umah jer. Xwat aper2 pon. Nak berjalan pon malas. Sepupu aku ajak gi pantai, tp aku malas. Hahaha! Pics kat bawah nih ialah gambar2 sekitar umah tok aku.

Pergi sbyg Jumaat. On the way nak gi sbyg Jumaat tuh, ternampak buah manggis yg baru nak membesar. Cantikkan. Subhanallah~ Snap sket.

Dok umah. Tak tau aper nak wat. Aku pon tangkap la gambar aya nih. Yg lagi satu tuh umah makcik aku.

DAY 7 - Setiu -- Jerteh (+- 40km)

Gi tgk tanah arwah ayah aku kat Jerteh plak. Tanah nih, aku pon tak tau kat mana. Kat bawah nih xder kena mengena ngan tanah arwah ayah aku. Tu korg leh tgk bukit tu gondol sbb aktiviti pembalakan.

Malam last tuh, xde api la plak. Hmm, pg kedai beli lilin la. Nenek aku pesan, beli lilin yg gemok2 sbb lilin yg panjang2 tuh cepat habis. Tp kat kedai kat kg tuh xder la lilin yg gemuk22. Haha!

DAY 8 (Ahad) Setiu -- KL (+-450km)

Keluar awal2 pagi. Nak cepat sampai. Tp sblum balik tuh, singgah jap kat umah pak cik aku yg sorg lagi. Kat kawasan umah dia nih, org2 kampung sumer wat rumah2 batu yg lawa2 weh. Kalah umah2 kat KL.

Singgah beli kopok lekor jap kat Kuala Kemaman.

Petang tuh jam teruk kat LPT. Aku dah citer kat post sblum nih. Malam tuh plak, jam jugak kat highway kawak. Sbb yg sama. Dua lorong tuka jadi satu lorong. Jam sampai ke UIA weh. Aku cuak time nih sbb lampu aladin (lampu minyak engine) tuh berkelip2. Alhamdulillah keter x mati kat tgh2 jalan.

Dah. Kol 10 selamat sampai rumah. Kalo x jam, sblum maghrib pon dah leh sampai. Xper2, yg penting selamat. BTW, mamandu sambil menagkap2 gambar amat bahaya okay. Jgn tiru aksi ini di rumah. K ar. Sekian.
